Environment protection at P&M
Ever since, the comapany P&M aims to interact with all resources at our disposal in the most responsible and caring way. Therefore, we have implemented the topic “Environment Protection” as ambition in all our departments and our daily business life. What is P&M actively contributing to achieve the goal to protect our environment:
- In 2007 and also this year new hardware has been installed in the entire P&M office which is bringing along higher energy efficiency!
- A virtualization of all P&M servers has been accomplished in order to decrease the consumption of electricity – less server, less consumption! Our current servers absorb substantially less energy than servers which were available 3 or more years ago.
- P&M has generated sensibility among it’s employees not to print emails needlessly – our environmental protector “frog”, stands for that!
- Overall we are interacting with the resource Paper very diligent and carefully!
- As a basic principal all desktop PC’s and monitors are turned off at night!
- Time switchers are regulating the printers of our departments assuring not to use energy without any reason!
These activities pro environment and many others have been initialized by P&M already a few years ago. Last year they became a strong and established part of our company goals.
